What’s worth a million buck???

Be it Necker Island, Bugatti Veyron Supersport car, 201 Carot Chopard Watch, Antilia, Harry Winston Ruby sliipers, Chateau Lafite 1787 Wine, Eclipse private Yacht, Stratocaster Guitar, Diamond covered iPhone 4S, it all costs you millions of bucks.
The satisfaction you get when you own such an expensive thing is monstrous, immense. You feel like you are on the top of the world. You feel you have achieved it. You feel great.
But does that feeling remain forever?
Actually, No.
It’s true that these things are really great to own, those big dreams make you really work hard in your life. But the happiness fades over time.
Then what really is worth million bucks?
I feel it’s truly your parent’s love, friends support, mentor’s care, well-wisher’s blessings that are worth more than all those expensive things. Every time you experience these, you feel overwhelmed, you feel better and that’s bliss and that remains forever. It’s the people around you & with you who are worth a million buck.
So let’s, love all & live tall –Sujit Lalwani

CHALLENGES

Giving birth to a child, to love unconditionally, going to the school for the first time, becoming a topper, to attain Success, to work hard to grow & grow, competitions, losing loved ones; Every single thing is a challenge.

Life in very crude terms would be “series of challenges”. Everybody is blessed with a new challenge every moment. Few simple, few tough, few complex, few disliking, few adventurous, few heart throbbing, few loving, few painful, few deadly etc.
But what’s unique is, every living being is blessed with series of challenges & every challenge is unique.

So, The moment word challenge is heard we all feel like, we should win it. But life is not just all about winning. Losing is also a part of life.
Losing sometimes gives you joy, Winning sometimes gives you pain, Vice versa.
Reminder: I’m not talking about Success.

Does it mean to win/lose in this challenges?
It doesn't matter really.

Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.

This BLOG is dedicated to the Brilliant Global Platform YOUR BIG YEAR!!! - A Smaller Earth Initiative! All of you must repost this on all your BLOGs!!!

The efforts extended towards changing thousands of lives, impacting the world with his positivity and the wave of entrepreneurship he is creating are beyond an imagination one would expect out of a 24 year old Indian. I am proud to announce that this person is taking India's name to that level which not even our 5th 5 year plan would  speak about. I take all the pride in supporting him and want all of you to support him in this mission.

I am indeed glad to share that I am a finalist amongst TOP-111 around the world, and the feeling is beyond the world, inexplicable by all means. The platform is unique and the prize is life transforming indeed. For people with a global vision and a vision to change their nation and the world, through their actions, this can act as a nitrogen booster!!!

I am working towards winning this competition and want many more people to participate in this next year and prove their worth. I feel proud to share all the information about this platform with you all!
The Your Big Year Competition brings a large number of talented people from all over the world to compete on a common platform and the final 12 get to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Congress this year at Liverpool in March 2012.The prize is a life changing experience, which involves exploring countries and cultures, meeting World Leaders, innovators, and inspirational entrepreneurs, executing projects in different parts of the world.

"Last Year’s finalists were so incredibly impressive and showed how people from different countries can work together to make things happen. They had a hugely positive impact on me and I am now expecting this year’s competitors to do the same. There are many ways to make positive impact and the most important thing is to try and do so at every opportu-nity."

Chris Arnold is the founder! Chris’s professional experience is in leading and developing Businesses. An entrepreneurial spirit has put him in a position of Director in a number of com-panies and he has a motivational style of leadership. His increasing success & experience has provided him with the chance to acquire new skills, like guest speaker, and he has also become part of a number of steering groups and boards for regional and international organizations. Amongst others, these have included being Chair of the Further Education Enterprise Hubs Project, being on the Regional Board of the National Enterprise Academy, and now being on the Steering Group for the 2012 Global Entrepreneurship Congress - to be held in Liverpool!

His first goal however is to aggressively integrate cul-tural exchange and travel into education, citizenship and personal development. For Chris, traveling with a purpose and with the idea of giving something to an unfamiliar community is the best route to accelerated learning. He also clearly has a passion for facilitating entrepreneurship, as shown by some of the specific boards and steering groups he has worked on.

This year the YBY global festival is happening at Li-verpool in the month of March. Liverpool Vision is the city of Liverpool’s economic development com-pany. It was established at a critical stage in the city’s urban and economic renaissance. Now the company is enabling Liverpool to complete and accelerate the considerable economic recovery and growth we have witnessed over the last decade. They are focused on building a strong, sustainable economy that can com-pete more effectively in international markets than ever before.

Friends, I am really glad to share all this with you, and dream to make it to the finals of this and bring back loads of knowledge and experience for you all!

Yours

“TRY ENTREPRENEURSHIP”

Many young guns between the age group of 19-25 are really working on so many things today. Thanks to Internet, the kind of information that its providing is immense . Everyone today is updated, well equipped, have enough knowledge on almost everything & filled with world class ideas.

Malls to Cafés to hangouts to pubs to bars to technical fests to leadership talks to meditation centres to temples, everywhere people are there.  Everywhere people are learning.

I just happened to see all these things live & I just loved the kind of enthusiasm that’s prevailing everywhere. But what stuck me on my mind immediately was that what are these people doing actually.
I found many people sitting for interviews, doing higher education to make their carrier’s better, atending many extra certification programs & what not. Ultimately everybody are putting so much of efforts to get ‘One Decent job’.

Suddenly I asked myself, what is making them sell so short. Because the kind of knowledge they have & the kind of job they do, majority times are not matching. I see a electronics guy working on C, VB in a software company which he is not intersted at all, I see a journalism degree holder working for an event management compnay, I see a BBM passout sitting in the entry of an office as a receptionist. I’m not trying to tell that this job is cheap or that is not worth as such. But my point here is, having such potential & so much of support from family, relatives, society why cant they do something on their own, what they love.
Immediately my answer was to spread the message “TRY ENTREPRENEURSHIP”. Now majority feel that its risky. My answer would be:
“Most risky life is one who lives a risk free life”.
So step out friends. Step out of your house, step out of your comfort zone, try it once.
Because “ At this age, you have lot of courage”.

Failure is bound but you are young & you can bounce back. The moment Entrepreneurship is told, you all associate it with risk, failure etc. Believe me guys you can associate it with Success as well.

Success is a result of continous failures. Don’t hesitate to try. Anyway a job is always there to go back.
Try it once, you may be the next Ambani, Billgates, SteveJobs. Let the world feel proud about you one day. It all starts with trying.

Thank you & See you soon.
